Catalog

Struct Catalog

Source
pub struct Catalog { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A shareable message catalog that can be registered as an entry package.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Catalog

Source

pub fn new( loader: impl Loader + Send + Sync + 'static, default_locale: LanguageIdentifier, ) -> Self

Uses the loader’s language negotiation and fallback policy.

Source

pub fn locale(self, locale: LanguageIdentifier) -> Self

Sets the default locale for this catalog and its entry package.

Source

pub fn text(&self, id: impl AsRef<str>) -> String

Formats a message or attribute in the entry’s current language.

Application messages override library messages. Without an i18n package, this catalog uses its default locale. Missing messages display their IDs.

Source

pub fn format<'a>( &self, id: &str, args: impl IntoIterator<Item = (&'static str, FluentValue<'a>)>, ) -> String

Formats a complete message with named Fluent arguments.

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.

§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
